Sexual Harassment Policy

In compliance with Illinois law, SOL POWER MIDWEST LLC maintains a written sexual harassment policy applicable to all employees and applicants for employment. As a public contractor and eligible bidder, we adhere to Section 2-105(A)(4) of the Illinois Human Rights Act. Our policy includes the following elements:

  • A clear statement that sexual harassment is illegal.
  • The definition of sexual harassment under the Illinois Human Rights Act.
  • Specific examples of what constitutes sexual harassment.
  • An internal complaint procedure, including disciplinary actions for violations.
  • Information on legal recourse, including the investigative and complaint process available through the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) and the Illinois Human Rights Commission (IHRC).
  • Contact information for IDHR and IHRC.
  • Details on protection against retaliation under Section 6-101 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
